Bihar NDA government: Nitish Kumar returned as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time as he took oath of office on Thursday at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda and Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states were present at the event. The Nitish Kumar-led NDA won the state assembly polls with a thumping majority of 202 seats in the 243-member house.
Apart from Nitish Kumar, 26 other leaders also took oath as ministers of the state cabinet.
The BJP has 14 ministers in the cabinet, while the JD(U) has nine including CM Nitish Kumar. Chirag Paswan‘s LJP(RV) got two ministers, whereas Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM(S) and Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM got one minister each. Two women ministers have been inducted in the Bihar Cabinet.
