The cabinet portfolios of 18 ministers in CM Nitish Kumar government has been announced and this time, BJP’s Samrat Choudhary has been given the Home Department, which was with Nitish Kumar since 2005. Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha continue to remain the Deputy CMs.

The NDA alliance won the Bihar assembly elections with a thumping majority by winning 202 seats of the 243-member house.

So far, the ministerial berth of all the BJP leaders in the cabinet, LJP(RV), HAM and RLM have been announced.

Here is who got what in Bihar under Nitish 10.0

Vijay Kumar Sinha – Land and Revenue Departments

Mangal Pandey – Health and Law Departments

Dilip Kumar Jaiswal – Industry Ministry

Nitin Nabin – Road Construction Department and Urban Development and Housing Department.

Ram Kripal Yadav – Agriculture Ministry

Sanjay Singh Tigar – Labour Resources

Arun Shankar Prasad – Tourism Department and Art, Culture and Youth Affairs

Surendra Mehta – Animal and Fisheries Resources

Narayan Prasad – Disaster Management Department

Rama Nishad – Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department

Lakhendra Kumar Raushan – Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department

Shreyashi Singh – Information Technology and Sports Departments

Pramod Kumar – Cooperation and Environment–Forest–Climate Change departments.

Sanjay Kumar (LJP-RV) – Sugarcane Industries Department

Sanjay Kumar Singh (LJP-RV) – Public Health Engineering Department

Santosh Kumar Suman – (HAM) – Minor Water Resources Department

Bihar cabinet structure

The BJP has 14 ministers in the cabinet, while the JD(U) has nine including CM Nitish Kumar. Chirag Paswan‘s LJP(RV) got two ministers, whereas Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM(S) and Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM got one minister each. Two women ministers have been inducted in the Bihar Cabinet.

Apart from Nitish Kumar, 26 other leaders also took oath as ministers of the state cabinet.
