Karimnagar Election Result 2023: Gangula Kamalakar from Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has won from the Karimnagar Assembly seat in Telangana by a margin of over 3,000 votes. He has garnered 92,176 votes against his rival Bandi Sanjay Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who polled 89,016 votes. Congress candidate Purumalla Srinivas has polled 40,057 votes. Bandi Sanjay Kumar is the former state president of the BJP in Telangana from March 2020 to July 2023.Counting in the Sircilla constituency began at 8 AM. The results were declared after the completion of 25 rounds of counting.

Karimnagar falls in Karimnagar district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as an urban seat. BJP’s Bandi Sanjay Kumar trailing by 2291 votes in round 6 of 25 in Karimnagar as of 12.30 pm. Gangula Kamalakar from Bharat Rashtra Samithi is leading with 24856 votes.

Gangula Kamalakar from Bharat Rashtra Samithi is leading with 20731 votes in round 5 of 25 in Karimnagar as of 12.10 pm.
Gangula Kamalakar from Bharat Rashtra Samithi is leading with 4856 votes in Karimnagar as of 10.45 am.
With the ongoing vote counting, the Congress has established a significant lead, comfortably surpassing the key threshold of 60, as per early trends. In contrast, the BRS is currently trailing behind.
