Welspun Corp Limited announced that its associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC) has bagged multiple orders from Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Real Estate Infrastructure Company (Binyah) and AI Rashid Trading and Contracting Company. The order is for manufacturing, supply of steel pipes and coating and is valued at SAR 57 million or approximately Rs 130 crore.
In a regulatory filing, Welspun Corp informed that the duration of the contract is seven months. “The financial impact of the contract will be reflected in Q1 and Q2 of the financial year 2025-2026,” it said.
EPIC is a manufacturer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes based in Saudi Arabia. Its fully integrated manufacturing facilities position the company as a preferred supplier in the KSA market.
Before this, EPIC had bagged another order worth approximately Rs 512 crore from Saudi Arabia for manufacturing and supply of steel pipes. In a regulatory filing, it had said, “We are pleased to inform you that our associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), Saudi Arabia’s leading manufacturer of HSAW Pipes today announced contract sign off with Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) with value exceeding SAR 230 million (Approx. Rs 512 crore) for manufacturing and supply of steel pipes.”
