Attention to the commuters of Indian Railways! The national transporter has cancelled the operation of the country’s first Tejas Express train on November 12, 2023 (Sunday) due to Diwali. Instead of this, the train will run on November 14 (Tuesday). The premium train introduced on October 5, 2019, is being operated and maintained by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

The Lucknow-New Delhi-Lucknow IRCTC Tejas Express covers a distance of 511 km in six hours and 15 minutes. This is the fastest train on the route followed by Swaran Shatabdi Express and ANVT Humsafar Express. Both the trains cover the same distance in 06:55 hrs and 07:00 hrs respectively.

During its journey between the two capitals, the train number 82501/82502 Lucknow-New Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express stops at two stations. These are – Kanpur Central and Ghaziabad railway station.
