January
– January 5: DMRC integrated its ticketing services into the ‘One Delhi’ mobile application, developed in collaboration with IIIT-D. This initiative enables seamless journey planning for commuters using both Metro and Delhi’s city bus services.
– January 7: President of India Droupadi Murmu, traveled on the Delhi Metro, becoming the second serving President to do so. She interacted with school children and used an NCMC RuPay card for her journey, accompanied by DMRC’s Managing Director, Dr. Vikas Kumar.
February
– February 21: A new integrated Operation Control Centre (OCC) was inaugurated at Metro Bhawan. It manages the operations of the Red and Yellow Lines and will oversee upcoming Phase IV corridors.
