Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) on Tuesday announced that the company has secured a solar project worth Rs 346.33 crore in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order was awarded by a prominent domestic renewable energy generation company.

In a regulatory filing, the company said, “…we are pleased to inform that “WAAREERTL” has been awarded Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of solar power project of 300 MW AC/435 MW DC capacity.”

The project will also feature advanced robotic cleaning systems to ensure high performance and reduce long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) costs.

The ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project, it added, is scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2025- 26.

“We value this partnership deeply and look forward to working closely together to deliver impactful outcomes now and into the future,” said Sunil Rathi, Executive Director, WRTL.

Shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies were up 1.53 per cent this morning at a trading price of Rs 1,047.15. 

Earlier, the company had released its fiscal fourth quarter earnings report with Q4 profit at Rs 93.77 crore, posting a growth of 82.75 per cent. It recorded revenue for the period at Rs 476.58 crore, posting a jump of 74.37 per cent year-on-year. For the full year, the company has recorded profit at Rs 228.92 crore and revenue came in at Rs 1,597.75 crore.
