Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA A. Revanth Reddy has been taken into custody for allegedly trying to bribe a nominated member of the state assembly.

According to reports, Reddy was arrested after the member, Elvis Stephenson, lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Reddy and his aide had gone to Stephenson’s residence in Secunderabad to hand over the cash when the ACB caught the two.
