Tata Power reported a 13.93 per cent YoY profit growth in the september quarter. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,245 crore in Q2 FY26. Last fiscal year, its consolidated net profit was at Rs 1,093 crore during the second quarter.
While the Tata Group company recorded a good profit growth in the quarter, its revenue declined by 0.97 per cent YoY. The company’s consolidated revenue in Q2 FY26 stood at Rs 15,544 crore, compared with Rs 15,697 crore in Q2 FY25.
Tata Power reported an EBITDA of Rs 4,032 in Q2 FY26. The company’s EBITDA grew by 6 per cent on a yearly basis, as the same was at Rs 3,808 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25.
Tata Power green energy push in Q2
As the company increases it renewable energy portfolio, Tata Power added 293 MW of renewable energy capacity in the second quarter of FY26. Of the latest addition, 111 MW came from own projects and 182 MW was sourced from 3rd-party EPC. The company installed 370 MWp solar rooftop capacity in Q2.
