On Thursday, the country’s largest luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz launched a petrol variant of its highest selling SUV, the GLE. Called the GLE 400 4MATIC, it is powered by a V6 petrol engine, which has a claimed power output of 333-bhp and a torque of 480Nm. Its top speed is 247kph. It is priced Rs 74.9 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The GLE now has four variants in India: GLE 250d, GLE 350d, GLE 400 and the AMG GLE 450 Coupe.
