I picked up several books during the Christmas holidays and have begun reading two of them: The Noodle Maker of Kalimpong by Gyalo Thondup (The Dalai Lama’s brother) and Indra Bahadur Rai’s There’s A Carnival Today translated by Manjushree Thapa.
A movie I’d like to watch again/ A TV series I love
I never get tired of Gulzar’s Aandhi; I have probably watched it over a dozen times. And I am looking forward to the next season of Westworld.

My wanderlust
I would love to go back to Bhutan. I spent the first 11 years of my life there. And it is beautiful.

Red rice with ema datsi, kewa datsi and phaksha paa served at Zakhang, a restaurant in Kalimpong that is known for authentic Bhutanese cuisine.
