After unveiling standout schemes over the last few months, the latest Spicejet offer, priced at Rs 350, for takeaways is looking to bring joy into kids’ lives on Children’s Day! Commemorating ‘Children’s Day,’ the low-cost carrier is rolling out takeaway kids’ meal bags available only on pre-booking, starting from 14th November, 2015 and thereby turn a boring outing  into a memorable trip.

Out of the funds generated  by this new Spicejet offer, the budget carrier will donate Rs 10 for every meal bag sold. The amount collected from this initiative will be handed over for the betterment of underprivileged kids.

Spicejet has also put up an exciting menu for the meal bag consisting of a mini vegetarian burger, fruit juice, bag of chips and chocolates. These best-loved treats come in packages which have been attractively custom-designed in plane-shaped bags which are useful takeaways and act as reminders of good times.

Kamal Hingorani – Sr. VP & Head of Inflight Services and Customer Experience, Spicejet, said, “We understand that it’s important that we keep engaging with our customers. And this time our focus is on the kids. While we have taken various initiatives for this section in the past, we thought it’s time now to reinforce our focus on them.”

“We have always focused on adding that zing factor to your travel and making it interesting. We are also glad to use this initiative to help underprivileged kids,” he added.

Spicejet says this initiative is likely to become a regular feature going forward and this launch is happening at a time when families are planning their next holidays.
