Advitiya Sharma, co-founder of Housing.com, the online real estate marketplace has resigned to start a new venture. Sharma, along with a few other IITians founded the company in 2012. After Rahul Yadav (then CEO) was fired from the company nine months ago, the company has been revamping its core management team.
Jason Kothari, who had joined the company as a chief business officer in August, was promoted as the chief executive officer in November, replacing Rishab Gupta, who was the interim CEO.
The company has recently raised $100 million from Softbank, to drive new strategy and accelerate growth plans.
