HG Infra Engineering, in joint venture with Kalpataru Projects International, has emerged as the L1 bidder for a Rs 1,415 crore Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation contract to design and construct a 20.527-km elevated metro viaduct for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Project.

HG Infra Engineering holds a 40% stake and Kalpataru Projects owns 60% in the Joint Venture.

Rs 1,415 crore bid for 20.5-km elevated viaduct

The JV has placed a bid of Rs 1,415 crore, including taxes, for the design and construction of an elevated metro viaduct spanning 20.527 km. The corridor will run between the underground ramp and Balkum Naka and will include a depot approach viaduct along with three special spans. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,424 crore.

Project to be executed in 36 months

MMRCL has awarded the work under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode. The project is domestic in nature and supposed to be executed within 36 months. 

HG Infra adds Rs 274 crore DLF contract

Earlier this week, on November 19, the company bagged a Rs 274 crore order from DLF to construct access roads for DLF Downtown Phase-2 in Gurugram that has a completion timeline of 548 days.
