HDFC Bank Q3 net profit up 33%, non-performing assets at 1.26%

HDFC Bank’s Q3FY24 net profit came in at Rs 16,372 crore, up 33% YoY from Rs 12,259 crore clocked in the same quarter last year. The net interest income (NII) of Rs 28,470 crore has risen 23.9% as compared to Rs 22,990 crore in Q3 in last fiscal.

HDFC Bank’s Q3 gross non-performing assets (NPA) stood at 1.26 percent, up from 1.23 percent from last year. The net NPA for the quarter stood at 0.31 per cent Vs 0.33 per cent last year.

Just to remind our readers, the Q3FY24 numbers include the operations of the erstwhile HDFC which was amalgamated with HDFC Bank on July 1, 2023.
