Fortis Healthcare has strengthened its presence in the Delhi-NCR region by taking over a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida on a long-term lease. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited (IHL), signed a 15-year lease agreement with RR Lifesciences.
Fortis had been managing the facility under an Operations & Management (O&M) arrangement since its launch in October 2022. Under the new lease, the hospital will operate as Fortis Hospital Greater Noida, with Fortis assuming complete operational and financial control.
The hospital is located in Greater Noida on a 1.35-acre UPSIDA-leased land parcel and has a built-up area of 2.7 lakh sq. ft. It has the potential to expand by another 50 beds, taking its total capacity to around 250 beds. The facility is well connected via the Greater Noida Expressway, Metro (Aqua line), Yamuna Expressway, and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. It is just 34 km from the upcoming Jewar International Airport.
Fortis Hospital to strengthen healthcare in Greater Noida
Greater Noida has seen rapid population growth, residential development, and corporate expansion. However, healthcare infrastructure has lagged behind rising demand. The addition of this tertiary care facility under the Fortis network is expected to meet the medical needs of communities in and around Greater Noida and position the city as an emerging healthcare hub in Delhi-NCR.
With this expansion, Fortis now has 2,000 beds across Delhi-NCR, further consolidating its presence in the region and enabling stronger synergies across its hospitals.
