As the Cricket World Cup (#cwc15) fever gathers steam, Google+ Face Paint is showcasing an innovative tool with which fans can express and highlight their support for their favourite team. Google+ tool allows people to paint their faces using a new face paint feature – fans can chose their team’s country flag or flag colors they want on their photo.
To join the legions of fans already making use of this tool, cricket fans anywhere in the world simply need to log into their G+ account and upload picture with the preferred message supported by the hashtag #PaintIndia.
If the fans wish to publicly share their face-painted pictures on Google+ for a chance to be shown on ICC’s official website http://www.icc-cricket.com/cricket-world-cup they need to add the hashtag #cwc15fans with their message for the team. Some of these publicly shared pictures by fans supporting their favourite teams on Google+ can be viewed on g.co/CricketFacePaint.
Fans can also search and see pictures from fellow Indian fans with searches for #PaintIndia. Some of the active hashtags if you wish to see global fans supporting their teams on Google+.
