After SpiceJet’s ‘Special Valentine’ Rs 1,599 offer, budget carrier IndiGo on Thursday announced an all-inclusive fare scheme that starts at Rs 1,499.
However, offer is available only on selected routes and are valid on bookings made 90 days before travel date. SpiceJet’s promotional offer, open till February 6, is applicable on travel between February 14 and April 15, 2015.
Special airfare offers were initially started by beleaguered SpiceJet and the new management led by co-founder Ajay Singh is continuing the trend after the exit of the Marans from the board.
Today, IndiGo has also announced the launch of six new flights on its domestic network. The airline will operate its fifth daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Goa and fourth daily non-stop flight between Kolkata and Guwahati.
With 578 flights connecting 37 destinations across the globe, these new flights commencing on February 07, will further consolidate IndiGo’s position as the fastest growing airline in India, thus resonating the airline’s expansion plan.
