Delhi Police in coordination with MapMyIndia, a digital mapping platform, has introduced navigation links to simplify the transportation process for Republic Day invitees utilising the parking facility. Following the drop-off of VIPs near their designated seating areas, vehicles will be directed to specific parking locations. Invitees can utilise the navigation links to reach their drop-off points, allowing their vehicles to navigate to the assigned parking area using the map. Subsequently, after the parade concludes, the vehicles will retrieve invitees from their designated spots and proceed accordingly.

Over 200 women personnel from the CRPF, the world’s largest paramilitary force, marched on Kartavya Path during the 75th Republic Day parade. A collective of 1500 dancers conveys the message of unity in diversity through their grand performance, incorporating 30 distinct folk dance styles representing various states across the nation. Furthermore, 120 dancers wear masks reflecting diverse tribal and folk performing arts, while an additional 120 participants showcase dances featuring traditional umbrellas and artistic elements from Gujarat, Manipur, Kerala, and Maharashtra.

The Republic Day parade on Friday highlighted ISRO’s accomplishments, featuring the landing of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft near the Moon’s south pole and the Aditya L-1 mission dedicated to Sun study. Emphasizing inclusivity, the tableau showcased the pivotal role played by women scientists across various ISRO missions. Notably, ISRO is gearing up for India‘s inaugural human space flight next year. The tableau included a model of Launch Vehicle Mark-3, responsible for carrying Chandrayaan-3 to the Moon from Sriharikota, and showcased the lunar landing site named Shiv Shakti Point by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Participating in the Republic Day 2024 parade, the Ladakh tableau unveils the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat: Empowering women through employment in Ladakh’s journey.’ Symbolising this journey of empowerment, the tableau prominently features the Indian Women’s Ice Hockey team, exclusively composed of Ladakhi players. The tableau vividly illustrates this empowering feat, showcasing girls engaging in ice hockey amidst the snowy landscape.

The presented tableau is a demonstration of the development of women’s handicraft industries, nurtured along with the festive culture of Rajasthan.

The theme of the tableau is based on ‘Ayodhya: Viksit Bharat-Samradh Virasat’. The front of the tableau symbolises the Pranpratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla, showcasing his childhood form.

The Republic Day parade features the tableau of Haryana, presenting the theme for this year as ‘Mera Parivar-Meri Pehchan,’ aligning with a program initiated by the Haryana Government. The tableau is designed as a traditional symbol of empowerment for Haryanvi women.

On Kartavya Path, the tableau representing Arunachal Pradesh showcases the Singchung Bugun Village Community Reserve, highlighting it as a significant biodiversity hotspot within the state.
