India’s leading provider of anti-drone technology and defence training solutions, Zen Technologies, along with its subsidiary AI Turing Technologies based in Pune, launched four groundbreaking products today.
These innovations—Hawkeye, Barbarik-URCWS, Prahasta, and Sthir Stab 640—aim to enhance tactical superiority and operational efficiency for defence forces.
Hawkeye
Hawkeye is a state-of-the-art anti-drone system camera equipped with multiple sensor detection modules. It offers all-weather drone tracking capabilities up to 15 km, ensuring continuous threat detection and enhanced security.
Barbarik – URCWS
Barbarik – URCWS stands as the world’s lightest remote-controlled weapon station. It provides precise targeting capabilities for calibers ranging from 5.56mm to 7.62mm, suitable for ground vehicles and naval vessels. This innovation maximizes battlefield effectiveness while minimizing personnel risk. Recent firing trials at Infantry School Mhow and Armoured School Ahmednagar showcased its impressive performance.
Prahasta
Prahasta is a revolutionary automated quadruped that leverages LIDAR and reinforcement learning to create real-time 3D terrain mapping. This enables unparalleled mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment. Prahasta can be armed with various caliber weapons, making it a vital asset for commando operations, such as the 26/11 counter-insurgency missions.
Sthir Stab 640
Sthir Stab 640 is a rugged stabilized sight designed for armoured vehicles, ICVs, and boats. Featuring an intelligent fiber optic gyro-stabilized system, it delivers exceptional situational awareness with automatic search and tracking capabilities. The sight is compatible with weapon mounts of 7.62mm, 12.7mm, 20mm, and 30mm calibers.
Zen Technologies’ Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Atluri, highlighted the significance of these innovations: “These products represent a significant advancement in autonomous defence operations. The launch will raise awareness around the need to integrate advanced robotics into combat and reconnaissance missions. Our self-funded products enable Zen to offer an expanded range of cutting-edge technologies to both current and prospective clients.”
