US Ambassador Kenneth Juster has inaugurated the US pavilion at the Defence Expo 2020 in Lucknow. Juster stated that the pace of defence cooperation between the US and India is accelerating. He also said that industry partners were playing a key role in the growth of Indo-US defence relationship.

Ahead of the Defence Expo 2020 in Lucknow, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Modi government's aim is to develop India as a defence manufacturing hub. Singh asserted that by the end of this decade,India will be among the top three economies of the world. India cannot remain an import dependent nation when it comes to defence, Singh said.
