Radio network 93.5 RED FM has announced the return of its annual South Indian cultural showcase South Side Story, with this year’s edition being themed around Onam. The two-day festival will be held on August 30 and 31, 2025, at the KD Jadhav Wrestling Stadium in the capital.

This year’s edition features a wide-ranging lineup of artists from across the southern states, spanning genres including indie rock, classical music, folk, and hip hop. Performers include popular bands and musicians such as Avial, Thaikkudam Bridge, The Raghu Dixit Project, TM Krishna, Shobana, Sooraj Santhosh, Wild Wild Women, Storyteller the Band, Job Kurian, and Aattam Kalasamithi.

Beyond music, the event also includes a range of cultural programming. In the weeks leading up to the festival, RED FM has partnered with DC Books and the Kerala Literature Festival to host literary sessions and curated reading events. Film screenings, visual art installations, and traditional performance arts are also part of the programming.

A key highlight of the Onam Special edition will be the Onam Sadhya—a traditional Kerala-style vegetarian feast consisting of over 20 dishes, served on banana leaves. Organisers said the event is designed to provide audiences in Delhi with an immersive experience of South Indian cultural traditions through food, music, literature, and art.

RED FM’s leadership said the initiative is an attempt to foreground regional creative voices and celebrate the cultural diversity of southern India in a contemporary urban setting. Tickets for the festival are available on the event platform Skillbox, with prices starting at Rs 499.
