Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Leeza Mangaldas, Co-founder of Leezu’s, talks to BrandWagon Online about her weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
Sadly I am so rarely not working— it’s one of my ongoing goals to have better work-life balance. Although sometimes I wonder whether such a thing exists, especially when you have the privilege of your work actually being building something of your own. However when I do manage to take some time off, I want to spend it with the people I love. It nourishes my soul to spend one-on-one time with the family members and friends I feel closest to.
How do you spend your weekends?
Weekends are for rest and maintenance. Sleep, exercise, therapy, household chores, some skincare and haircare, some friends and family time. A weekend indulgence I love is to get a massage. And I try to squeeze in some reading, cooking, and painting whenever I can.
What are your favorite gadgets?
Love Bug from Leezu’s my favorite gadget right now. It’s the absolutely incredible little clitoral suction stimulator from my brand, Leezu’s. It’s the smallest, most discreet massager in the world, yet super powerful, and it looks just like bluetooth earphones so you never have to hide it! It’s not an AirPod, it’s a down there pod 😉
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
In another life, I’d have loved the chance to do work like David Attenborough or Jane Goodall. Study animals and birds, be ensconced in nature. What a dream!
Which is your favorite vacation spot?
Tanzania— there’s really no vacation quite as breathtaking as an African Safari.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching
