The Job

As Vice President & General Manager – Asia at Infobip, I have the privilege of leading our strategic initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. My role is multifaceted, ranging from overseeing operations and driving innovation to enhancing customer experiences in the fast-evolving communications technology sector.

A significant part of my work involves spearheading key initiatives in India while closely collaborating with regional leadership teams to identify and tap into new market opportunities across APAC and Eurasia. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I enjoy being at the intersection of strategy, technology, and customer engagement, constantly working to push the boundaries of what’s possible in digital communication.

The Weekdays

No two days are the same. My workday typically kicks off with a scan of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies that could influence the communications landscape. From there, it’s a flurry of strategic discussions, leadership syncs, and collaborative brainstorming sessions to align our vision across teams.

Given Infobip’s global footprint, I spend a significant portion of my day in conversations with international teams, ensuring our offerings stay ahead of the curve while staying closely connected to our clients’ evolving needs. It’s a fine balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.

Managing a vast and culturally diverse region like Asia comes with its own complexities. I rely on a deeply adaptive approach that hinges on cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and diversity. This involves crafting strategies that blend transparent communication, agile execution, and nuanced understanding of regional dynamics, supported by strong local partnerships.

At the heart of it all are people. I actively work on shaping cross-cultural leaders and nurturing talent by empowering them with the right tools and platforms. Leveraging technology helps us streamline efforts, ensure consistency, and incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve performance across the board.

The Weekend

My weekends are centered around maintaining a healthy work-life balance and nurturing personal well-being, both of which I consider essential in a high-pressure industry like ours. I consciously take time to disconnect from work and engage in activities that help me recharge. Whether it’s spending quality time with my family, practicing yoga and meditation, or indulging in my interests like interior design and light reading, these moments offer a much-needed reset. While I don’t consider myself an avid reader, I do enjoy books that offer personal growth and new perspectives.

The Toys

The iPhone is definitely my go-to device because it combines innovation, seamless connectivity, and a sense of style that resonates with me personally and professionally. It keeps me effortlessly connected whether I’m handling work or staying in touch with loved ones and has become an essential part of how I manage and balance different aspects of my life.

The Logos

Two logos that stay with me are Airbnb’s “Bélo” and the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star. Both are rich in symbolism and deeply aligned with how I lead and what we strive to build at Infobip.

The Airbnb logo — with its beautiful fusion of people, places, and love into one universal symbol — stands for belonging. It reflects a philosophy that’s very close to my heart: people-first thinking. It’s about more than just transactions; it’s about trust, empathy, and creating real human connections. That’s how I approach leadership as well — by building inclusive teams and meaningful relationships, both within the organisation and with our customers.

On the other hand, the Mercedes-Benz logo, with its iconic three-pointed star representing dominance over land, sea, and air, speaks to the spirit of excellence and innovation. It reminds me of the precision and impact we aim for at Infobip. Just as the star spans multiple domains, we too are committed to delivering seamless, intelligent communication experiences across all digital touchpoints — always with the same standard of quality, no matter the channel.
