March, being the last month of the financial year, is hectic not just in the world of business. Interestingly even in terms of festivals, March is a busy month this year and there are 14 bank holidays or non-working days as per the updated list of official holidays from The Reserve Bank of India.

The list of March 2025 Bank Holidays may however differ slightly from state to state and it also impacts Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and account closure limits for public and commercial banks in India. The RBI list of holidays also include bank holidays on second and fourth Saturday.

One very interesting aspect about the bank holidays for March 2025 list is that the banks are shut on March 31, the last working day of the financial year on account of Id-Ul-Fitr
