Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL), a key player in the Adani Group which manages as many as seven airports across India, has introduced ‘aviio,’ a new digital platform designed to deliver real-time airport information. This innovative platform provides passengers with updates on various aspects of their journey, including wait times, gate changes, and baggage status.

What is Aviio?

Aviio aims to unify the aviation sector, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to enhance passenger service. By providing real-time data access, aviio simplifies airport information for passengers, covering security checks, wait times, gate changes, and baggage tracking.

As a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, AAHL envisions aviio as a transformative tool for airport operations and passenger experience. With seven operational airports and an additional one scheduled to open in mid-2025, aviio is tailored to support large-scale airport management.

How will aviio impact global airport operations?

According to a statement issued by the Adani Group, this pioneering initiative is expected to set a global benchmark for airport operations. Aviio’s development includes a sophisticated Smart Airport Operations System, designed as a replicable ‘Airport-in-a-Box’ model. This next-gen Airport Planning and Operation Centre (APOC) offers ten times more features for data-driven decision-making.

The aviio app, also known as AOCC-on-the-go, is intended for all airport ecosystem partners, including AAHL employees, airlines, ground handlers, and retailers. Each stakeholder will have access to specific features and workflows relevant to their role. Additionally, CISF personnel at the airports will be equipped with smartphones preloaded with the app to facilitate seamless collaboration.

Arun Bansal, CEO of AAHL, highlighted that aviio will improve capacity planning, operational efficiencies, and real-time resource management, setting the stage for effective multi-airport governance and sustained growth.
