Urad and its dal prices fell up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today, owing to slackness in demand against adequate stocks.
However, other pulses continued to be asked around previous levels in limited deals.
Traders said subdued demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in urad and its dal prices.
In the national capital, urad shed Rs 100 to Rs 3,300-3,800 and its dal chilka local and best quality traded lower by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,300-4,600 and Rs 4,700-5,200 per quintal, respectively.
