In its gesture towards the martyrs of the recent Mumbai terrorist attack, the state-run, Union Bank of India has decided to donate Rs 1 lakh each to the family of every NSG/Marcos/Mumbai Police/defence personnel who gave their lives in this operation against terrorists in Mumbai. At this hour of crisis, the National Security Guards (NSG), Marine Commandos (Marcos), Mumbai Police and the Rapid Action Force (RAF) rose to the occasion risking their own lives in eliminating the terrorists and saving the lives of scores of hostages, the bank said in a statement.
