Apollo Hospitals plans to increase presence in the space of specialised dental care clinics through a JV with one of the largest domestic medical technologies firm Trivitron Healthcare. The JV called Alliance Medicorp plans to set up more than 100 dental clinics by 2014. The immediate plan is to set up 50 centres in 20 cities of India with an investment of Rs 100 crore. Apollo has plans to enter the international markets of South Asia, South East Asia, West Asia and Africa by leveraging the existing network of Apollo and Trivitron in these regions.
