The AV Birla group companies, Grasim and UltraTech that were reported to be in race to acquire L&T?s RMC business, L&T Concrete on Tuesday denied they have any such plans going forward. Sanjeev Bafna, senior vice-president and deputy CFO of the company, said, ?We will not acquire L&T?s RMC business and we have no such plans. We plan to grow in RMC organically. It does not make sense for us to acquire the business now.?
