Gold and silver prices were at record highs on futures as well as spot markets in Delhi and Mumbai Tuesday mirroring trends in overseas markets, analysts and traders said. Gold touched a record high at Rs 20,488 per 10 gram on MCX. Gold was also at record highs on Delhi spot markets at Rs 20,700 per 10 gram for pure gold and Rs 20,600 per 10 gram for standard gold. In Mumbai, spot pure gold opened at Rs 20,525 per 10 gram and standard gold at Rs 20,425 per 10 gram, both at record highs. Silver also hit a record high on MCX at Rs 41,690, per kg and Rs 42,225 per kg on Mumbai spot.
