India is expected to seek support from Bulgaria for global civil nuclear co-operation and also to strengthen bilateral economic relations.
According to sources, this will be one of the major issues on the agenda for the talks between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Bulgarian counterpart Sergei Stanishev when they meet on Wednesday. ?Bulgaria is one of the 45 member of nuclear suppliers group (NSG) that has a positive attitude towards nuclear energy and is likely to take a favourable view of the India-US civil nuclear deal,? said an official source.
