The Emami group, a Rs 1,500-crore personal-care and healthcare major, has launched the Emami MarkSpark 2007, a pan-India marketing case analysis contest, amongst the top 25 business schools in India.

The by-invitation contest is open to full-time post-graduate (masters) programme students (first or second year), Emami Ltd said.

The statement quoted Rajesh Mehta, vice-president for marketing, as saying: “Activities such as The Emami MarkSpark 2007 help build and consolidate ‘Brand Emami’ even further in the minds of future corporate leaders, and goes a long way in fostering stronger bonds between educational institutions and corporate, while giving a two-way transfer of knowledge”.

The winners will be announced by December 31, 2007. The winning school will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
