QAI (www.qaiglobal.com), the world?s leading consulting and workforce development firm addressing Operational Excellence, announced the first ever Awards for High Maturity Best Practices on 21 May, 2010 at the 1st International Colloquium on CMMI High Maturity Best Practices (HMBP) 2010. Sreenivasa M. Gangadhara, Ajay Simha, Amit Bhattacharjee and Archana V. Kumar from Honeywell emerged as the winners. Their paper was about ?Demystifying High Maturity Implementation Using Statistical Tools & Techniques?. Avinash Bharj and Mitta Rout from Capgemini were chosen as the first runner-up for the award for their paper on ?High Maturity Implementation in ERP Engagements?. The second runner-up spot was awarded to Rekha Ramrakhiyani and Santosh Kumar from Birlasoft for their paper on ?Ensure on time Delivery for Maintenance Projects?. The awards were given away at a glittering ceremony at the Le Meridian, Bangalore on the Awards Evening at HMBP 2010.
The International Colloquium on CMMI High Maturity Best Practices received over 80 author intent submissions. This response was very encouraging given that this was the first time that leadership in the area of CMMI High Maturity was being recognized. A jury comprising of four eminent industry members, short listed these down to the top 10 papers which were then presented at the conference. The papers were evaluated on concept (30%), content (30%), presentation (20%) and value contribution (20%), for a total score of 100 points. The top 3 papers were awarded the CMMI High Maturity Leadership Awards.
Winner of the Best of the Best-CMMI High Maturity awards, Mr. Sreenivasa M Gangadhara and team from Honeywell, expressing their sincere thanks to QAI, said, ?HMBP Colloquium by QAI was a good platform to meet the best minds of the industry and to share & learn High Maturity best practices.
