US President Donald Trump has yet again taken credit, and this time, it is for the elimination of Al-Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden. Speaking at an event in Washington DC. Trump said he had warned about Osama bin Laden a year before the terrorist executed the dreadful 9/11 attack, blowing up the World Trade Centre and killing more than 3000 people.
He said that in a book, he wrote on a page specifically that the US should “take care of” Osama bin Laden.
“History will never forget that it was the SEALs who stormed the compound of Osama bin Laden and put a bullet in his head. Remember that. And please remember I wrote about Osama bin LadenOsama Bin Laden exactly one year ago, one year before he blew up the World Trade Center,” Trump said amid a loud cheer from the crowd.
‘You got to watch Osama’
Trump said he told the government, “‘You got to watch Osama bin Laden.’ And the fake news would never let me get away with that statement unless it was true. But I said one year before to Pete. I said one year before. Where’s Pete? In the book I wrote whatever the hell the title. I can’t tell you. But I can tell you there’s a page in there devoted to the fact that I saw somebody named Osama bin Laden and I didn’t like it and you got to take care of him,” he added.

The US president said the then US government didn’t listen to him. “And they didn’t do it. A year later he blew up the World Trade Center. So, we got to take a little credit because nobody else is going to give it to me…” he said.
Trump claims credit of stopping wars
This is not the first time when President Trump has claimed credit for something. During his nine months of second tenure as the US President, Trump has, on multiple occasions, said he stopped many wars and deserves a Nobel Peace prize for the same.
He has been relentlessly following up with Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Hamas to stop two biggest conflicts that are presently going on in the world. He has held multiple rounds of talks with leaders of Russia, Ukraine and the European countries, but so far, there has been no concrete result.
Furthermore, the most recent announcement of the Israel-Hamas peace deal also seems to be not positively moving in the direction Trump wanted, as he has again threatened Hamas of action if they do not agree to the 20-point peace deal.
The US President has also claimed that he stopped the India, Pakistan conflict during May, which New Delhi has denied, stating it was a bilateral affair and Islamabad approached first requesting for a ceasefire.
