At least 6 foreigners have had their US visas revoked for “celebrating” right-wing activist Charlie Kirk‘s assassination, according to the US Department of State. On Tuesday (US time), the Donald Trump government issued updates on inflammatory developments in the aftermath of the Turning Point USA founder’s killing last month in Utah.
The shocking news emerged shortly after the American media personality was posthumously awarded the highest civilian honour, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, on what would’ve been Kirk’s 32nd birthday. Trump had already hailed the right-wing influencer a “great American hero” and “martyr” at his funeral in September.
On Tuesday afternoon, the POTUS reiterated the sentiment, calling the deceased commentator a “fearless warrior for liberty, beloved leader who galvanized the next generation like nobody I’ve ever seen before, and an American patriot of the deepest conviction, the finest quality and the highest caliber.”
US revokes visa after Charlie Kirk’s death
“The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans,” the Department of State announced on October 14. “The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk.”
Listing out six examples of “aliens who are no longer welcome in the US,” the government department mentioned that foreigners whose visa had been revoked were from Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Paraguay. Neither of them has been identified so far.
Noting that Trump and State Secretary Marco Rubio will “defend” the country’s borders, culture and citizens by enforcing immigration laws, the US government continued to hit out against foreigners. “Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed,” the authorities added.
Of the people who now face visa revocations, the State Department disclosed the screenshots of their social media rants about Charlie Kirk following his fatal shooting at Utah Valley University little over a month ago.

Social media posts of foreigners speaking out against Charlie Kirk revealed
Here’s what these impacted foreign nationals wrote about Kirk, as per the State Department.
Argentine national: “Just came on here to say Charlie Kirk can rest in f***** piss and yet again if you have any empathy at all for people like this you can ahead and remove yourself as my friend. I do not give a f*** about the death of a person who devoted his entire life spreading racist, xenophobic, misogynistic rhetoric. It’s hot as f*** where this man currently is and it’s deserved.”
South African national: “Neanderthals can’t have their cake & eat it… This weekend they went openly anti-black racist & now they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom? Charlie Kirk won’t be remembered as a hero. He was used to astroturf a movement of while nationalist trailer trash!”
Mexican national: Although not having shared the screenshot for the post, the State Department claimed they wrote about how Kirk “died being a racist, he died being a misogynist,” adding that “there are people who deserve to die. There are people who would make the world better off dead.”
Brazilian national: “Charlie Kirk was the reason for a Nazi rally where they marched in homage to him.” Officials further stated that the person said Kirk “DIED TOO LATE.”
German national (in their native language): Celebrated his death, while justifying the shooting incident by saying, “when fascists die, democrats don’t complain.”
Paraguayan national: “Charlie Kirk was a son of a b**** and he died by his own rules.”
