A video of an Indian-origin woman speaking against US President Donald Trump at a meeting of IT union workers in Seattle, while targeting him for his anti-immigrants stance has gone viral on social media. There is no information about who recorded the video, when and where it happened, but the woman can be heard making anti-Trump statements, with remarks like “kick the bu** of Donald Trump, kick his a**.”

A huge round of applause followed as the speaker went on and said that she was surprised to see Trump’s anti-immigration stance, given two of his three wives were immigrants.

“You know the joke that they make that immigrants do all the hard work that no other person wants to do. That’s what they talk about his poor wives who got married to him as no other American would want to be with him,” the woman said, attracting laughter and applause.

‘Trump is not God’

The speaker said if Donald Trump thinks he makes the laws in the country, he doesn’t. She addressed the attendees, likely members of the group, asking them not to worry and realise the power of unity.

“The fact is that the president is not god, the president is not making the laws in the country though he thinks he makes the laws…When you go back home, stop worrying at night, when you panic and worry that means you have not become a member of ITServe; that means you don’t believe in your own power and the power of unity as an organization,” the woman said.

With 2200 member, the ITServe Alliance is the largest IT union in the US representing and it recently supported Rep Raja Krishnamoorthi’s HIRE Act which proposes to double the H-1B cap in the US.

Many users, supporters of MAGA, said the “Indian tech cartel is openly bullying Trump”.

What is the row?

The remarks made by the woman have been shared through the video by many US users, who resisted all that she said. Calling for her arrest, a user said, “Woman with heavy accent speaking at H1B conference in Seattle recently calls for violence against President Trump. She makes fun of Melania being an immigrant and mocks Americans.”

“The speaker committed a federal crime inciting harm of Trump. Arrest her!” he added.

Another wrote, “Sounds like inciting physical violence against the president. Hey @USDOL @USCIS how is that firewall thing going? Nothing of concern here right? This is just your average room full of highly skilled IT professionals, here to save us from our inadequate American tech workers?”

“Openly threatening to ‘kick the butt’ of the president of the United States? The FBI needs to be made aware of this,” mentioned a third one.

The video has come at a time when Trump’s strict curbs on H-1B continue to trouble outside talent and companies who used to get the poll.
