US President Donald Trump and the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, were seen together at Charlie Kirk’s funeral after their very public spat a few months ago on social media. They were seen sitting side by side at the Conservative influencer’s funeral and appear to be engrossed in an intense discussion. As expected, the video of this moment from the funeral went viral on social media.

Trump and Musk spotted together: Video

The now-viral video of Trump and Musk opens to show them shaking hands while sitting beside each other in the audience at the funeral held in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Trump is then seen introducing Musk to someone sitting next to him. It was followed by another handshake between Musk and the person Trump introduced him to. The clip ends with the two men chatting closely, and Trump giving Musk a light tap on the hand.

Before the viral handshake, Musk was seen alone in the stadium where mourners gathered to honour Charlie Kirk.

‘For Charlie Kirk’

Elon Musk, too, shared a picture of himself and Trump on social media with the words “For Charlie”. The picture shows the two looking at each other, with Trump slightly leaning towards Musk.

White House also shared a black-and-white picture of two of them from behind with the caption, “POTUS x Elon Musk,” before adding, “For Charlie.”

Elon Musk also shared a video from the stadium, showing the arena filled to capacity. “Every seat in this giant arena that isn’t roped off for security is packed to the ceiling. Honoured to be here,” he wrote.

“All for Charlie Kirk,” he stressed.

When asked by a reporter why Charlie Kirk was killed, Musk responded, “He was killed because his words made a difference. Because he was showing people the light, and he was killed by the dark.”

Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot dead on September 10 at Utah Valley University. Police have taken 22-year-old college dropout Tyler Robinson into custody in connection with the killing.

Fallout between Musk and Trump

Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who once appeared to be inseparable, fell out after Musk criticised Trump’s “big, beautiful bill”. The criticism turned ugly with Musk going as far as to suggest that had he not helped Trump, he would have lost the election in November to Democrats.

Things didn’t stop here, as amid the feud, Musk launched his newly announced “American Party” after conducting a poll on social media. He also vowed to expose the Jeffrey Epstein files and questioned Trump’s reluctance to release them.
