US President Donald Trump posted an avalanche of late-night social media updates on Tuesday, spanning a wide range of oft-repeated grievances. The POTUS shared more than 160 Truth Social messages to rail against democratic leaders and push various Republican talking points.

Starting around 7 pm ET and continuing until nearly midnight, Trump fired off posts at a rapid pace, averaging about one every two minutes, Axios reported.

Who and what was Trump talking about?

Trump’s social media commentary included discussions surrounding former President Joe Biden, whom Trump criticised for using an autopen for signing executive orders.

Several Democratic lawmakers like Senator Mark Kelly and Representative Nancy Pelosi, who he baselessly accused of orchestrating the January 6 Capitol riot, also featured in his posts.

Trump also questioned the citizenship of Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, who is of Somali origin. Among political rants, Trump shared nostalgic content including a video montage featuring his cameo in “Home Alone 2” that proclaimed “Christmas is officially GREAT again,” as well as a tribute video to First Lady Melania Trump, according to People.

What else did Trump post about?

In addition, Trump reposted videos and articles from conservative and far-right sources to bolster his MAGA message, including calls for voter participation in Tennessee’s 7th congressional district special election.

The posting frenzy briefly paused after midnight but resumed early Tuesday morning with Trump declaring, “TRUTH SOCIAL IS THE BEST! There is nothing even close!!!”

‘I stay up at night’

Trump, who met Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House in November, had revealed during the interaction that he has a tendency to stay up till late hours.

“When you love your job, when you love your country… you’re thinking about your country [even at night],” Trump explained, adding, “I don’t want to sleep”, New York Times had reported.
