US President Donald Trump has called to “end the Democrat Epstein Hoax” amid federal inquiries against Jeffrey Epstein, and added that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has done its job. In a TruthSocial post, the US president ripped into the Democrats for “badly failing” as far as the Epstein case is concerned. He said the party did not do anything while the sex traffickers were alive, except for “taking his money”.
“The confused and badly failing Democrat Party did nothing about Jeffrey Epstein while he was alive except befriend him, socialize with him, travel to his Island, and take his money! They knew everything there was to know about Epstein, but now, years after his death, they, out of nowhere, are seeming to show such love and heartfelt concern for his victims,” Trump said.
The remarks come as pressure mounts in the US Congress for the release of the full set of Epstein case files. According to a CNN report, Epstein survivors have warned they may move to compile their own list of alleged abusers from Epstein’s network if the government fails to make the information public.
“Does anybody really believe that? Where were they during his very public trials, and for all of those years before his death? The answer is, “nowhere to be found.”” he added.
Claiming that the DOJ has given full documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, Trump said, “The now dying (after the DOJ gave thousands of pages of documents in full compliance with a very comprehensive and exacting Subpoena from Congress!) Epstein case was only brought back to life by the Radical Left Democrats because they are doing so poorly, with the lowest poll numbers in the history of the Party (16%), while the Republicans are doing so well, among the highest approval numbers the Party has ever had!”
Trump calls questions around Epstein files a ‘HOAX’
The US president said the Democrats do not care about the victims, and the recent queries around Epstein are all “HOAX, just like Russia, Russia, Russia, and all of the others, in order to deflect and distract from the great success of a Republican President, and the record setting failure of the previous Administration, and the Democrat Party”.
“The Department of Justice has done its job, they have given everything requested of them. It’s time to end the Democrat Epstein Hoax, and give the Republicans credit for the great, even legendary, job that they are doing. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” he concluded.
Survivors call for a ‘full list’ of Epstein case
The US government has been bombarded with the requests of making public the full list of Epstein case files. One of the survivors said, “It will be done by survivors and for survivors.”
“No one else is involved,” she added, reported ANI.
On the other hand, the demand for disclosure is being pursued on two tracks – Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson has assured that the House Oversight Committee’s probe will “uncover things that have never been uncovered before.”
However, many critics argued the probe may not bring anything other than what is already available in the public domain, according to CNN.
