Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York kicked off with a bang, but not everything went smoothly for USA Network’s broadcast.

What was expected to be a great viewing experience for fans turned into a frustration-filled spectacle, with viewers claiming strong complaints about sound issues, delayed transmissions, and an overload of advertisements.

A strong start to the championship

Ryder Cup’s opening moments set the stage for a thrilling tournament. Bryson DeChambeau, one of Team USA’s standout players, delivered an unforgettable opening tee shot before clinching the first hole for the Americans.

The crowd buzzed with excitement, and anticipation grew as President Donald Trump was expected to make his arrival.

Fans expecting to enjoy the action at home were instead met with persistent problems.

Viewers reported audio synchronisation issues, where the sound did not match up with what they were seeing on screen, creating an irritating viewing experience. Additionally, many complained about long delays between the live action and its broadcast.

‘Ryder Cup TV coverage = More commercials’

Netizens slammed the network across social media. A user noted, “The presentation of the Ryder Cup sucks. 1) This should NOT be on USA Network, how is it not on CBS. 2) The app/website sucks. 3) Way too many commercials. For an event that currently has just 8 (EIGHT) guys playing golf, there’s no need for a “featured” group.”

Another added, “USA network this broadcast is terrible. Buffering and blacking out when every other channel is fine is terrible. Keep raising prices on us and this is what we get?!.”

“USA Network coverage of the Ryder Cup is an absolute joke. Commercial break for two of the biggest putts of the tournament? Laughable coverage,” added a netizen.

“USA simulatenously giving the worst Ryder Cup coverage, with technical issues and non stop commercials while begging for pity and help keeping their network alive is an amazingly sad irony to watch in realtime,” stated another.
