A suspicious hunting stand with a direct sight line to US President Donald Trump’s Air Force One exit was discovered near Palm Beach International Airport on Thursday, according to the US Secret Service. FBI Director Kash Patel has since alerted the masses of the development as well, noting, “USS spotted a suspicious stand near the AF1 zone in Palm Beach,” on X. He further announced that the FBI was investigating the matter.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the potential “security threat.”

Consequently, a White House official told Fox News that Trump boarded Air Force One quickly, using small stairs, due to “increased security measures” at the airport on Sunday.
Patel, on the other hand, told the US news agency that the Secret Service came across an elevated hunting stand in the area right before Trump’s return to West Palm Beach. Revealing that no individual was found at the scene, he added, ” The FBI has since taken the investigatory lead, flying in resources to collect all evidence from the scene, and deploying our cell phone analytics capabilities.”
Anthony Guglielmi, a Secret Service spokesperson told NBC News in a statement, “The US Secret Service is working closely with the FBI and our law enforcement partners in Palm Beach County. During advance security preparations prior to the Palm Beach arrival, which included the use of technology and comprehensive physical sweeps, our teams identified items of interest near Palm Beach International Airport.”

Trump’s son breaks silence
The Republican president’s son, Eric Trump, also called out the presence of a suspicious hunting stand near the Palm Beach airport. Taking to his social media account on X, he praised the Secret Service for doing “great job” in finding the item.
“‘Hunting Stand’ – for all the Whitetail on Southern BLVD, located directly across the street from Palm Beach International Airport, in the median of a major highway… directly facing the Air Force One stairs (200yds),” he shared online.
Hours after Kash Patel addressed the arising “threat,” President Trump was spotted departing Palm Beach Airport for Washington DC, as per visuals obtained by Fox News.

Trump’s Palm Beach scare comes after would-be assassin Ryan Routh was found guilty
The latest incident revolving around Donald Trump’s security in Palm Beach comes a little over a year after Ryan Routh was accused of attempting to assassinate the then-presidential candidate while he was playing golf on a course he owns in West Palm Beach. Last month, a jury found him guilty of all charges. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 18, and is facing up to life in prison despite pleading not guilty.
