A video of the aftermath of a collision between two regional Delta planes at New York City‘s LaGuardia airport has emerged on social media.

In what is being called a “low-speed collision” between two Air CRJ-900s on Wednesday evening (US time), the wing one aircraft appears to have been hit by other’s front. As per the pictures of the planes available online, planes apparently incurred damage on the nose and windshield pane. As per the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the crash took place just before 10 pm ET on October 1.

According to Flightradar24, the Endeavor (Delta subsidiary) flights involved in the collision were DL5155 and DL5047. While the former was taxiing for departure at the time of the crash, the other was taxxing to the terminal. 5155 was schedule to take off for Roanoke, Virginia, whereas 5047 had come in from Charlotte, North Carolina.

CBS News’ Kris Van Cleave, who was on Flight 5047, shared visuals from the scene after the incident on social media. 5155 had 32 on board, including 28 passengers and four crewmembers, Delta shared. Meanwhile, 5047 had 61 on board, including 57 passengers and 4 crewmembers.

“Preliminary info indicates 5155’s wing made contact w/5047the fuselage of the arriving aircraft,” the CBS senior transportation and national correspondent said on X.

Preliminary details into the probe indicated that only a flight attendant had suffered a minor injury. EMTs at the scene treated her, and she was ultimately taken to a hospital, according to the Port Authority’s statement.

Airport operations were not impacted following the collision, whose cause has yet to be confirmed.

“Delta teams at our New York-LaGuardia hub are working to ensure our customers are taken care of after two Delta Connection aircraft operated by Endeavor Air were involved in a low-speed collision during taxi,” Delta issued a statement, as passengers were ultimately escorted off planes. The airline also offered passengers provisions to stay in hotel rooms and new flight bookings for Thursday if needed.
