Former British royal Andrew Windsor recently made headlines after his royal privileges and title were stripped due to his past association with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a new bombshell claim by historian Andrew Lownie, neither he nor his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson may be able to set foot on American soil again.

Why Andrew may not be able to enter the US?

Historian Andrew Lownie, author of ‘Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,’ told NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, that Andrew and Sarah could be forced to testify in front of the US Congress if they travel to the country.

Members of a US Congressional committee had also intensified calls for Windsor to be probed in the matter, BBC had earlier reported.

They could also be arrested in the case as demands over the release of all documents linked to Epstein gained momentum recently with President Donald Trump approving the release of the files after a historic Congress vote on the matter.

The released files will carry redacted information about victims and other essential material pertinent to the case.

What was Andrew and Sarah’s association with Epstein?

Andrew has been alleged to have sexually abused several victims, with the late Virginia Giuffre being one of them.

Giuffre, who died by suicide in April this year, had alleged in her posthumous memoir ‘Nobody’s Girl’ that Epstein ordered her to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, including when she was 17.

“We’re going to get other names of people who were trafficked to Andrew, particularly girls younger than Virginia,” Lownie said.

As for Sarah, whom Andrew split from in 1996, has publicly admitted to “borrowing” $15,000 from Epstein, but that sum could be much more, Lownie claimed.

Epstein also helped Sarah pay off $19,000-worth of family debts, Newsweek earlier reported.

Andrew’s royal benefits taken away

Last month, the 65-year-old was stripped of his royal privileges and moved out of his home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, Buckingham Palace announced.

King Charles had initiated a “formal process to remove the style, titles and honours of Prince Andrew” who will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the palace had said.

Andrew will receive an annual stipend, which will be privately funded by King Charles, according to the Guardian.
