A dramatic dashcam footage which went viral showed a small plane crash landing on a highway in US as it collided with a moving car. The incident reportedly took place in Interstate 95 in Brevard County in Florida on Monday.
The Beechcraft 55 plane could be seen gradually descending toward the highway as the car moved along the lane, crashing on top of it and then skidding ahead before coming to a stop.

Aircraft had to make emergency landing
According to reports, the aircraft had to make an emergency landing on the busy highway after reporting engine trouble, according to Fox News.
The plane’s 27-year-old pilot and his male passenger onboard the aircraft escaped unhurt, according to NBC news. The 57-year-old woman, who was driving the car, a 2023 Toyota Camry, however sustained minor injuries and had to be taken to a hospital.
A witness could be heard exclaiming, “Oh, my goodness,” as the chaotic scene unfolded on the highway.
“We just saw this plane drop out of the sky,” another witness Jim Coffey told Spectrum News 13.
The Federal Aviation Administration will take the lead on investigating the emergency landing incident. The FHP will conduct a crash investigation, New York Post reported authorities as saying.
Recent US Air Force’s F-16 crash in California
Last week, United States Air Force’s F-16 fighter jet crashed near Trona Airport in California.
The fighter jet belonged to Air Force’s elite Thunderbirds Squadron. The crash was also recorded on camera, and the video surfaced online. The pilot reportedly ejected safely even as the the F-16 jet turned into a fireball within moments soon after the crash. The pilot was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
