Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald and Melania Trump, is already showing that life as the first couple’s heir comes with its own set of privileges. Sources told NY Post that the 19-year-old recently hosted a date at none other than Trump Tower in Manhattan.

Inviting someone over to a building that carries your family name sounds like the ultimate power move. But insiders say the choice was less about flexing and more about security. According to a source familiar with the arrangement, Barron’s team cleared out an entire floor of the skyscraper so the young Trump could enjoy his evening privately and safely.
Earlier during Trump’s second presidential campaign, he revealed that Barron, who is now a sophmore at NYU, is not dating anyone. “I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,” Trump replied when asked, “Is Barron good with the ladies at NYU? Is he there yet?”
Though Barron currently lives in the White House, Washington, he still makes trips back to New York. As reported earlier, he is enrolled at New York University’s D.C. campus, which began classes on September 2.
Life of Trump’s youngest son, Barron
Trump has often credited Barron for his sharp understanding of political and social matters, with reports suggesting that Barron played a key role during Trump’s political campaign. He helped bridge the gap between the youth and the Republican Party while also advising his father to move away from legacy media and explore platforms like social media and podcasts to better connect with younger generations. Back in October 2024, Trump, speaking to podcast host Patrick Bet-David, praised Barron, saying, “He’s very smart. He’s a good student and all that. He goes to a great school and does really well. And he’s a very nice guy. You see that.” Before answering a question about Barron’s dating life, Trump added, “He doesn’t mind being alone, but he’s somebody that gets along with people.”
Last year, while attending NYU’s main campus in Greenwich Village, Barron’s impressive 6’7 height and looks made him something of a campus celebrity. “He was the guy. Girls were running after him,” a fellow student recalled. Another source described him as a “ladies’ man,” noting that his popularity among female classmates was undeniable.
Even with that kind of attention, life as Barron Trump comes with limits. Earlier this year, Page Six reported that he avoids giving out his phone number to new friends out of fear it will leak. Instead, he chats with friends on gaming consoles like Xbox and on platforms such as Discord. “If his number got out, he’d be swamped with calls. It’s just not worth the trouble,” a source explained.
Despite rarely being seen in public, Barron makes headlines whenever he does step out. In March, he was photographed with Melania Trump outside Trump Tower, sporting a Rolex said to be worth close to $50,000. And just recently, Forbes estimated his net worth at about $150 million, reportedly boosted by cryptocurrency investments.
