President Murmu will also address the Algeria-India Economic Forum, where economic cooperation between the two nations will be a central focus.

During her visit to Algeria, the President will also visit the Sidi Abdellah Science and Technology Pole University and inaugurate the “India Corner” at the Hamma Botanical Garden by planting a sapling from India.

On October 16, President Murmu will arrive in Mauritania for the second leg of her trip. She will meet with President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and the two leaders will sign four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering culture, foreign office consultation, and visa waivers for diplomatic passport holders.

The final stop of her visit will be Malawi on October 17. In addition to meeting with Malawi’s President, President Murmu will attend a business event and address the Indian diaspora. Three MoUs on youth affairs, sports, and cultural exchange are expected to be signed during this visit.
