The US Justice Department on Thursday revealed a set of government documents related to Jefferey Epstein but the release has sparked disappointment as much of the information released has already been circulating for a long time. Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated, ‘’This Department of Justice is following through on President Trump’s commitment to transparency and raising the veil on the disgusting actions of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators. The first phase of files released today throws light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long-overdue accountability.

The newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel also posted a statement on X, ‘’The FBI is entering a new era of integrity, accountability and justice. No cover-ups, no missing documents-every stone will be turned. Those who undermine this will be pursued. Hidden records will be exposed and brought to the for full transparency. Our oath to the constitution will be upheld without compromise.’’

As more documents are expected to be released, public interest continues to be high. Pressure is surging on federal agencies to disclose the records without making any changes. Reports are coming out that the FBI may be holding back thousands of additional pages related to the Epstein case.
