A massive cellular outage has been reported across the United States, latest media report said on Thursday. According to the New York Post, customers of Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile complained about no signal and not being able to connect with other network users. Outage tracking website Downdetector.com has also confirmed the development.

A BBC report said that as many as 32,000 AT&T customers being affected by the outage. Hotspots from east to west of the US are not working due to the outage, Downdetector added. Most of the customers say that their cellphones are showing ‘SOS’ message on screen.

According to Reuters, over 800 service outages of T-Mobile and Verizon have also been flagged. The cause of the cellular outage has not been confirmed as of now.

Signal-related issues were reported from crucial areas such as Los Angeles, Houston, New York City, Chicago and Brooklyn.
