Donald trump victory speech: Former US President Donald Trump took a victory lap even as the counting of votes is still underway in the country. In his speech, surrounded by his family and top political minds, Trump spoke to supporters as he inches closer to securing a second term as the US President.
During the speech, Trump said that God spared him for a reason. “I will fight for you with every breath in my body, will not rest until we have delivered a strong, safe and prosperous America,” he added.
He also highlighted the significance of Tesla CEO Elon Musk in the United States. Praising Musk, Trump called him a “super genius”.
“A star is born,” he remarked. “He is an amazing guy…We spent two weeks in Philadelphia and different parts of Pennsylvania campaigning,” he said. Hr further stressed that the US needs to protect its genuises. “We don’t have many of them,” he added.
“He’s an amazing guy. We were sitting together tonight. You know, he spent two weeks in Philadelphia, in different parts of Pennsylvania, campaigning.”
“Only Elon can do this,” Trump said as he talked about watching a recent SpaceX launch. “That’s why I love you, Elon.”
Although the election has not yet been officially called for the former president, US media projections indicate that Trump is close to securing the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House. He has already claimed victory in the crucial swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
At the moment, Trump has garnered 267 Electoral votes, while Harris has claimed 224.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it a “historic return”. “Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America,” Netanyahu said on X.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Trump by saying” Congratulations, President Donald Trump”.
